Swim kit and training aid requirements.

Goggles

swimming goggles not tinted, most club swimmers use arena tracks as they have changeable nose bars that help with different head shapes and sizes.

Fins

The club has a small stock of Fins

used fins are £10 and New are £20

we also exchange fins if they are in good condition

swim hat

We  have club swim hats in stock at £6.50 these must be worn at competitions. Cheaper and thinner hats can be purchased from online shops and are more suitable for swim training as they are lighter and are more elastic so are not too tight on the head.

Chlorine resistant swimwear is most suitable for swim training. Be careful and follow washing instructions.               Swim costumes for girls should be a one piece suit and not bikini style.

Shorts for boys should be swim shorts/jammers and not beach shorts as they create drag in the water.

To carry essentials for training.

Water bottle 1 litre

From lanes 2 to 6 also require a head snorkel

Lanes 3 to 6 will require hand paddles
